Join Cypress at Maker Faire Bay Area for Innovative Demos, Giveaways and More!

Maker Faire Bay Area kicks off later this month (May 16-17) in San Mateo and we here at Cypress are looking forward to a weekend full of interactive exhibits and creative presentations highlighting the momentum of the Maker Movement and the technologies driving this industry, including the Internet of Things (IoT). Whether a seasoned technologist or an emerging maker, we’ve got something for everyone at the Cypress and Arrow booth #2323 in the Zone 2 Expo Hall.

Heading into this year’s show, we put the call out to makers around the world to design IoT projects using Cypress’ new Bluetooth® Smart PSoC 4 BLE Pioneer Kit. You can get an up close look at the winning project – a homemade electric bike project made from new, obsolete laptop lithium ion batteries, equipped with a commercial dashboard called the Cycle Analyst. This will no doubt inspire you to create your own IoT project and you can get a demo of the latest toolkits to drive your future IoT designs at the booth as well. This includes:

  • CapSense™ touch-sensing solutions
  • RPiSoc demo
  • Arrow electronics demos

If you want to test your strategic skills, join our Easter egg hunt. The BLE Easter Egg Hunt challenges participants to use the CySmart mobile app to hunt out PSoC 4 BLE-based beacons on the show floor in plastic Easter eggs. Bring them back to our booth to exchange them for prizes.
